Hello, first, thanks a lot for the five million of visits, I feel very happy for that, I´m gonna try to keep on the road, thanks for the support, for your comments, for help me to improve and also for the good time on the DA community, for that and more, thanks a lot

I was triying to adapt a old comic I did to release for free download this time, but I was out of time, so I´m gonna deliver on the future

. Ok, next kiriban, 5500000

Also thanks to

for the 2 months membership . thanks!
I´ve been away around a week from inet, my old mac got problems (maybe a electric issue, no clue it was five years old after all) so I had to travel to Iquique a city 4 hours and half from my town to buy a new one and migrate all to a new laptop. Right now I´m installing all, lol, it´s like a change of house or so, you miss some things and found anothers

but all is coming back to a , well, "normal status" today or maybe tomorow

a lot of people asked me about Castle age, a APP/game for facebook, and yes, Im doing some designs and ilustrations for the game right now, I hope to post some new pics for that project soon, cause I had a great time working on it

here is the banner of the game and also some ilustrations I done for the game (the girls

).

well, some people was asking me on notes about my influences and artists I like, so, I will to talk on each new journal a bit of artist and people wich I admire a lot, somekind of review

ok, then we start on this issue of this I called:

Quique Alcatena:
It was arround 1990 (lol, yeah, I´m that old XD), my town was very little, so you couldn't see too much comics on the markets, except maybe Condorito and some Disney stuff. A day I was wandering on an old library and found some Skorpio Issues. Skorpio was an Argentinian Magazine, there you can found a lot of awesome artists (almost all inspired me a bit in a diferent way), like Saichann, Lalia, Breccia, Meriggi, Zannoto or wonderful scritps by Mazitelli. Almost all comics of Skorpio was pretty dark; fantasy, policial, ScFi, etc. but an artist wich I like on the group was mr Alcatena. His work have a onirical touch, but aggressive at the same time, wonderful designs, very detailed, but very stylistic, a mix between an oriental feeling, mideastern flavor, and a european touch. His work inspired me a lot, I still remember some wonderful pages for Batman (the pirate elseworld), Conan, travesia por el laberinto, Dinastia maldita, acero liquido or el mago. Belive me, is that kind of artist you cannot die without know his work
[link][link][link][link][link][link][link]hope you enjoy his work so much as I like it

Ah! BTW, the song for this Journal is
Return to oz - Scissor sisters
Enojy it!!
